Role Overview
The company is seeking a senior leader with diverse project experience to help lead their structural department. You will oversee the project leads, whilst there is still a technical element the primary responsibilities will be to manage the project lead, interface with clients and lead. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and analysis of various structural projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative and effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Engage in client discussions, manage new proposals, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Attend meetings and coordinate with internal teams on multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Licensed Structural Engineer (S.E.) required.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of structural design software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
