Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team.
Role Responsibilities
Utilize drilling procedures and standard field sampling methods for various environmental media.
Record field data and observations.
Oversee the installation of monitoring wells.
Implement work plans as an in-field task leader.
Manage initial project tasks including preparation of plans, permits, agreements, and other documentation.
Train and supervise newer staff on field methods.
Oversee various subcontractors during site investigations and remediation work.
Analyze and interpret data obtained during field investigations.
Prepare draft technical reports for review.
Lead and implement safe work practices in the field.
Gain knowledge of federal and state regulations related to environmental projects.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred in a relevant field.
2-4 years of experience.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer skills, including the use of tablets for field documentation.
Proficiency in common software applications.
Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, problem-solving, and client service skills.
Self-sufficient and able to meet deadlines.
Capable of overseeing subcontractors during field work.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
Comfortable working at field sites and committed to safety practices.
Willingness to respond to and perform emergency response work.

Compensation
Salary for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, education, and geographic location, with a range of $75,000 - 90,000.
