We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to join our client's team on large, complex, and fast-paced construction projects. This role requires on-site presence, working directly with the project team. The ideal candidate will be a flexible and adaptable team player with strong communication and client service skills. Building relationships with operational personnel to drive processes and deliver results is crucial. They have multiple Projects US wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Planning & Scheduling: Assist project teams in preparing project schedules and progress schedule status for subcontractor and owner reporting.
- Baseline Establishment & Analysis: Establish baselines, draft narratives, and perform variance, float, and delay analysis.
- Project Forecasting: Forecast project schedules and align with cost and manhour projections.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor Planning & Scheduling team members.
- Change Management: Drive the change management process to document scope and unforeseen changes, incorporating fragnets and TIA preparation.
- Risk Communication: Clearly communicate risk factors to on-site personnel and upper management to ensure proactive action.
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience: 6-8 years of Planning & Scheduling experience in engineering or construction.
- Specialization: Prior experience with Mission Critical / Data Center projects is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Oracle P6 Professional.
- Software Skills: Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) and basic skills in Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, and Box.
- Team Management: Ability to effectively manage and communicate workload with all team members.
- Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Task Completion: Ability to identify, track, and complete work tasks in a timely manner.
