Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Environmental Project Manager/Geologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in geology. A professional license is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
- Conduct site assessments, geological investigations, and environmental impact assessments.
- Develop and implement remediation plans for contaminated sites, including soil and groundwater remediation strategies.
- Perform data analysis, interpret geological data, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory agencies, to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on geology and project management.
- Strong understanding of geological principles, including soil and groundwater hydrogeology.
- Experience managing complex environmental projects, including contaminated site remediation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Professional licensure or certification (e.g., Professional Geologist) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for data analysis and project management.
