Responsibilities:
As the Senior Highway Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of highway and roadway projects, ensuring their timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government agencies to drive project success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating all phases of highway and roadway projects, from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Managing project teams, providing direction, support, and performance feedback to ensure project milestones are met.
- Overseeing the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents.
- Collaborating with government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Conducting regular project status meetings and providing updates to clients and senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years managing highway and roadway projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
- Strong knowledge of highway design standards, regulations, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
