Position Overview: The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong business development skills and ideally have an existing book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct field visits, run tests, and write comprehensive reports.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with other departments across the companies
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Engage in business development activities to bring in new projects.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Leverage an existing book of business to generate new opportunities and expand the company's client base.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Proven business development skills and an existing book of business.
