Position Overview: As a Senior Project Manager on the environmental team, you will oversee and manage complex environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in Connecticut regulations, strategic thinking, and leadership skills will be essential in driving project success and fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple environmental projects simultaneously.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with Connecticut environmental regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in project management within the environmental consulting industry.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale environmental projects.
In-depth knowledge of Connecticut environmental regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
