We are leading a search for experienced project managers in the DC-Maryland area to join a nationwide general contractor with an office local to the DMV. Our client specializes in large projects in the ELectrical and Mechanical spaces, and is looking to grow their company threefold over the next few years - they're offering some of the best benefits and compensation packages in the field to help fuel this growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale ground-up mechanical projects in the DC area from start to finish
- Build and foster relations with existing clients and maintain the company's high-tier reputation
- Handle smaller change orders and procurement
- Manage a team of laborers and tradesmen to execute mechanical projects on time and on budget
- Navigate unexpected issues and changes that may arise on site with speed and integrity
Key requirements
- Minimum 9-10 years working for a mechanical contractor as a requirement
- Experience working on projects worth $35m+ an absolute requirement
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and relate to people
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems - huge plus if you started out in the trades as a steamfitter or pipefitter!
