Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale ground-up mechanical projects in the DC area from start to finish
- Build and foster relations with existing clients and maintain the company's high-tier reputation
- Handle smaller change orders and procurement
- Manage a team of laborers and tradesmen to execute mechanical projects on time and on budget
- Process change orders and punch lists
Key requirements
- Minimum 9-10 years working for a mechanical contractor as a requirement
- Experience working on projects worth $25m+ an absolute requirement
- Strong interpersional skills and ability to communicate and relate to people - our client's reputation means a lot to them
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems - huge plus if you started out in the trades as a steamfitter or pipefitter!
