Land Development Project Engineer

We are hiring a Land Development Project Engineer to work in our Kennewick, WA office. Our Land Development Group has long-term core clients who are developing some of the most interesting and challenging projects in the state, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, educational and industrial. While applying technical, engineering knowledge and skills, this position will:
- Be responsible for coordinating civil development service efforts with a team of Engineering, Planning and Survey leads including other in-house service groups.
- Be able to self-perform design and lead design teams consisting of engineers, surveyors, designers, drafters, and planning support personnel when required.
- Prepare and coordinate technical activities as well as peer review for Quality Control purposes.
- Lead agency interaction or partner with planning and surveying for acquiring needed permits and approvals.
- Communicate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors and others as required to complete projects.
- Coordinate construction and work in the field as needed for development projects.
- Participate in all phases of project development, planning, permitting, design, and construction.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, planners, sub-consultants, and public agencies on projects.
- Attend public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions, as required.
- Be responsible to develop and implement design solutions for various project applications.
Salary Range:
$95,000- $130,000 annually, determined by experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain one in Washington within 1-year of starting work).
- 5-8 years of civil engineering design experience, specifically in land development related areas.
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is required.
