Our firm is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, where you'll have the opportunity to lead impactful projects across industries such as government, education, transportation, and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and executing mechanical systems for various building types and applications.
- Engineering Design: Develop and review mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver high-quality solutions tailored to their goals.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative approaches to complex challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and compliance of design documents, calculations, and specifications.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets to meet milestones effectively.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, energy modeling tools).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
