We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team and lead design efforts on high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for creativity, sustainability, and technical excellence to drive our projects to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of diverse landscape architecture projects, including urban developments, parks, streetscapes, and environmental restorations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate landscape architecture into broader project goals.
- Oversee project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering growth and development within the department.
- Prepare and present design concepts, proposals, and reports to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct site assessments, research, and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Stay informed on local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring compliance in all designs.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) in Florida, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS tools; experience with 3D modeling is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design practices, green infrastructure, and ecological principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
- Experience working in a consulting or multidisciplinary environment preferred.
