Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team in Perth, Australia. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in groundwater modeling, environmental impact assessment, and hydrogeological consulting. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hydrogeological investigations and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement groundwater models using advanced simulation software to assess groundwater flow, contamination, and resource management.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide expert advice on groundwater-related issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute field programs, including drilling, sampling, and monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in hydrogeology and environmental consulting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hydrogeological consulting, groundwater modeling, and environmental assessment.
- Proficiency in using groundwater modeling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of successful project management and client engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Professional registration or certification in hydrogeology or a related field is preferred.
