As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead geotechnical engineering projects from initiation to completion. In this crucial role, you will manage project execution with an emphasis on safety, risk mitigation, quality control, and adherence to schedules. As a technical authority, you will direct geotechnical analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring the success of projects. Additionally, you will act as a client project manager, aligning with client goals and maintaining robust relationships, while also ensuring project profitability. Working with teams locally and across the company, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of project outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Team Development: Building a geotechnical team to conduct analysis and design of deep and shallow foundations, earthen structures related to slope stability, seepage, and settlement, site seismic analyses, report and proposal preparation, drawing preparation, specification writing, construction cost estimating, and construction site inspections.
- Project Management: Overseeing project management and billable responsibilities.
- Client Communication: Engaging in communication with both internal and external clients.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Managing schedules and budgets effectively.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- You have 10+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
- You have 5+ years in Project Manager role
- You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license
- You have the skills to develop and grow business opportunities
