Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Brisbane
A leading engineering company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Brisbane. In this key role, you will manage geotechnical investigations, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations and assessments of construction sites.
- Plan and execute geotechnical testing and analysis.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and drawings.
- Design and implement geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications and requirements.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical plans and specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong understanding of drilling methods, field investigations, and laboratory testing procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
