We are partnered with an established and rapidly growing engineering firm who are looking for a new Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in their Jacksonville office, and work on a vast range of exciting new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including soil testing, site assessments, and analysis for a backlog of projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, geotechnical designs, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and civil engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with technical and non-technical clients to generate business for the department.
- Oversee fieldwork and coordinate with subcontractors and laboratories to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Provide review of projects requiring complex and innovative investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients.
- Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida is required.
- 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
