Job Title: Senior Geospatial Scientist

For over 40 years, the company has provided international services for various resource and infrastructure development at the exploration, construction, and operations stages.
Role Overview: As a Senior Geospatial Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in our projects by leveraging geospatial technologies to analyze and interpret environmental data. Your expertise will contribute to informed decision-making, ensuring our projects align with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geospatial analyses to support environmental impact assessments and project planning.
Develop and implement geospatial models and tools to address complex environmental challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geospatial data into project workflows.
Prepare detailed reports, maps, and visualizations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in geospatial technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geospatial Science, Geography, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in geospatial analysis, preferably within the environmental sector.
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
Experience in project management and working in a consultancy environment is a plus.
