Senior Electrical Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to apply advanced electrical engineering principles across various facility designs. This role involves providing technical direction to a team, potentially including Program Management duties, and reports to the Director of Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute medium to large-scale complex engineering projects using advanced knowledge.
- Deliver projects adhering to company standards, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Provide QA/QC review and PE stamping of deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors.
- Serve as a technical liaison internally and externally.
- Mentor and support engineering and production staff.
- Coordinate staff workload and schedules.
- Contribute to the development and management of engineering standards and procedures.
- Assist with departmental management and administration.
- Implement Project Management initiatives and actively manage project scope.
- Engage with project staff to monitor work status, well-being, cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Forecast staffing requirements and manage allocations.
- Supervise engineers and designers.
- Coordinate and execute Business Development and Marketing initiatives.
- Assist with proposal and fee development.
- Represent the company in the A/E industry.
- Serve as a Client Champion for key clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- 15+ years of facility design experience, including healthcare-specific projects.
- Experience in medium to large-scale complex renovations and new construction.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Commitment to client satisfaction.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in electrical engineering.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform and make decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment.
