A growing, multidisciplinary engineering firm is looking for a Senior Distribution Engineer to join their team in any of the following locations: California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, & Colorado

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee distribution system projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
- Supervising, nurturing, and guiding the career paths of team members, including conducting performance assessments and managing compensation reviews
- Maintain accurate records, drawings, and documentation related to distribution system projects
- Providing training, coaching, leadership, and guidance to a range of professionals, such as designers, engineers, task managers, project managers, supervisors, and managers
- Developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing group processes, which may encompass quality management systems and resource planning
- Develop maintenance plans and procedures to optimize the reliability of distribution infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience, or less experience and an advanced degree, including at least 2 years of prior supervisory and/or project management experience, is required
- Communicates effectively with clients, management, peers, and subordinates. Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills are required
- Serves as a subject matter expert with an in-depth understanding of electric distribution line design and engineering concepts and principles
- Effective leadership skills are required
- Demonstrates Project Management expertise in developing project schedules, cost budgets, and understanding and analysis of the financial data
- Demonstrates mastery of intermediate to advanced project management financial concepts, including developing pricing, cost budget monitoring, and calculating profit
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of software as needed to perform the duties described here, including Microsoft Office Suite applications and software, CAD programs, document management systems, database software, HR Systems, internet software, and reporting tools related to databases and client-specific software
