What You Will Be Doing:
A progressive and experienced consulting engineer is sought to take a lead role on significant water and wastewater control system design and construction projects for utilities across the U.S. This role involves collaborating with operators, maintenance staff, managers, and engineers to ensure client goals are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as project manager and technical lead/engineer of record to manage project teams in preparing control system designs suitable for public bid.
- Preparing technical deliverables such as SCADA master plans, Preliminary Engineering Reports, and other reports.
- Facilitating workshops and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assisting in business development opportunities, including proposals, fee estimates, and identifying additional work with clients.
- Providing innovative solutions to improve operations, increase efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making for utilities.
- Mentoring junior engineers and developing their technical and project management skills.
This role requires up to 40% travel, depending on client needs, project type, and phase of the project.

Requirements:
- Registered Professional Engineer in the United States by examination or ability to obtain registration within 12 months.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (minimum).
- At least 5 years of relevant control systems design and/or system implementation experience, including development of specifications and drawings for public bids or SCADA programming.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
