Our client, based in the beautiful city of Canberra, Australia is on the hunt for a dedicated Senior Contaminated Land Consultant to join their expert team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects and make significant contributions within this critical sector.
They are national environmental consulting firm, bringing years of knowledge and technical expertise to every project. The team comprises of industry leaders and professionals providing top-tier service delivery.
Role Requirements
- Management and oversight over field programs involving soil, groundwater, and surface water assessments.
- Conducting comprehensive investigations regarding contaminated lands.
- Development & submission project proposals while maintaining excellent project management standards.
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum experience level above five years (ideally between 5 -10 years)specializing primarily in contamination land assessment sectors is sought after,
- Ability manage end-to-end processes autonomously including quoting accurately distinct initiatives then reporting plus interpreting outcomes effectively
- Demonstrating proficiency with contaminate sites through previous work experiences enabling confidence during execution phases across diverse scenarios encountered daily herein Northern Territory's unique environment setup;
- Familiar with local legislation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff.
- Consulting experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, project management, and communication and interpersonal skills.
