Senior Commissioning Specialist- Cheyenne, WY
Position Overview: This role involves conducting tests, inspections, and startups of mechanical, control, and other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain equipment and startup documentation for mechanical and control work.
- Develop and administer functional tests, mechanical inspections, and quality checks for both basic and complex systems.
- Partner with the service department to transition projects for service and warranty.
- Verify test report results and assist with troubleshooting commissioned equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with Lead/Manager to address deficiencies found during the commissioning and quality process.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and equipment vendors as required.
- Mentor less-experienced Commissioning and Quality Specialists.

- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and implement changes.
- Strong skills in developing and implementing policies.
- Enjoy coaching and mentoring, with the ability to help develop staff.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field preferred, or applicable experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience setting up and testing HVAC systems, including complex systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents (mechanical drawings, specifications, etc.).
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC control systems.
- Ability to coordinate projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Autodesk applications.
