We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our client's team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, claims management, and risk management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules for various projects, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Analyze project schedules to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage claims processes, including the preparation, submission, and negotiation of claims.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to minimize project risks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Prepare and present detailed project control reports to senior management.
- Implement and maintain project control systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with a focus on CPM scheduling, claims management, and risk management.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or similar are preferred.
