Our client are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead infrastructure and water resources projects. This role involves overseeing the design and development of roadway, sewer, water, flood protection, drainage, and coastal restoration projects while managing project teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is a Louisiana-licensed Professional Engineer with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor civil engineering teams in the development of construction bid documents.
- Manage the design and implementation of roadway, sewer, water, flood protection, drainage, and coastal restoration projects.
- Oversee project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Provide technical oversight and quality control for engineering designs and reports.
- Support business development by preparing proposals and maintaining client relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Louisiana-licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 15+ years of experience in civil engineering design with project management responsibilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor civil engineering teams.
- Experience developing construction bid documents for public and private sector projects.
