As a building enclosure consultant you'll manage a range of commercial & municipal restoration design projects with the occasional inspection and new design for a range of clients in North Carolina.

Responsibilities
- Manage a range of structural restoration design projects from end to end.
- Perform field investigations, including water leakage, non-destructive testing, travel required
- Perform modelling of enclosure assemblies using different software
- Analyse proposed repair/design options
- Design and draft repair drawings and details
- Prepare construction documents such as repair drawings and specifications
- Observe construction and installation of repairs/designs in the field, including quality assurance testing
- Prepare site visit reports and meeting minutes
- Interact with project clients, sub-consultants, and repair contractors
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with structural repair design or building enclosure consulting.
- PE or RA license in North Carolina is ideal
- RRO or RRC credentials are also desired but not required
- Experience as an end-to-end project manager on restoration projects.
- Must be autonomous with a growth mindset and good communication skills
