A prominent architecture firm is looking for a seasoned and highly proficient Senior Architect to lead our Denver studio. In this role, you will spearhead architectural design and project planning, managing complex projects while ensuring strong client engagement throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance project outcomes, focusing on client satisfaction, design excellence, quality, team engagement, and project profitability.
- Utilize core processes, design tools, project management systems, and technology to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.
- Lead the development of innovative design solutions, prepare architectural documentation, and ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Oversee the Architectural studio's operations, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Emphasize staff supervision, communication, and organizational consistency to build a resilient and adaptable team.
- Identify and prioritize initiatives that enhance knowledge and skills, such as training programs and team meetings. Regularly monitor business metrics-such as utilization, profitability, and revenue projections-and work with Finance to establish solid contracts and set achievable fees.
- Mentor and support team members, sharing insights and fostering discussions around design quality, project challenges, and improvement opportunities. Assess team strengths and weaknesses to assist the Director in developing an annual hiring plan.
- Promote accountability in project staffing, delivery, and client relationships, empowering your team to take ownership of their work.
- Collaborate with design leaders to elevate the quality of design on all projects, leveraging innovative design technologies and fostering creative solutions.
- Work with leadership to review studio capacity, client expectations, feedback, and backlog, while pursuing new opportunities and delivering outstanding services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Licensure: Licensed Architect with current registration. NCARB certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Experience with healing, learning, and/or discovery project types is preferred.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team is highly valued.
- Salary: The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000, depending on education, experience, and skills.
