Job Overview: Our team is seeking a highly motivated SCADA Engineer who is eager to learn and will support our operations group on all things related to engineering, testing, installing and operating SCADA systems.
*Ideal candidate will be based in the East or West Coast where sites are. We are considering remote candidates as well that meet criteria and are flexible with 30% travel but candidates who are local to sites or willing to relocate if interested are welcome to apply*
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our solar projects across the US.
- Assist in the design and configuration of SCADA systems.
- Develop and implement SCADA software applications.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate SCADA systems with other automation and control systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with SCADA.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Specialty in at least two of the following areas (protective relays/SEL products, trouble shooting, field support, firewalls/networks/VPN structures.
- Knowledge of industry protocols such as Modbus and DNP3.
