Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Sales Representative to drive business growth within the Northeast Missouri and Iowa territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation sales, a deep understanding of machine vision and robotics, and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. This role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help clients implement innovative automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand business within the assigned territory.
Identify and engage with potential customers, including manufacturers, system integrators, and end-users, to promote machine vision and robotics solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored automation solutions.
Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of products.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on the benefits of our automation solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
Travel throughout Northeast Missouri and Iowa to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation sales, preferably within machine vision or robotics.
Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including sensors, vision systems, robotics, and industrial controls.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
