They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance for our high voltage projects in Maine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical safety, a thorough understanding of high voltage systems, and a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs for high voltage projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in high voltage or electrical construction projects.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar safety certification is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC, and NFPA 70E standards.
