Role Overview:
The Air Quality Regional Lead will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive business development, and collaborate with global and local leaders to develop and deliver air quality services. This role requires significant professional consulting experience and the ability to navigate challenging consulting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, driving revenue generation.
- Manage proposal preparation and write successful proposals.
- Engage in client discussions, building a robust client base and ensuring repeat business.
- Collaborate with peers across divisions to generate business synergies.
- Drive strategy processes and annual business development initiatives.
Technical Leadership:
- Demonstrate extensive technical expertise in air quality.
- Lead and coordinate air quality projects, ensuring successful delivery within time, quality, and cost objectives.
- Develop innovative approaches to complex project problems.
- Prepare documentation of technical analyses and research.
Project/People Management:
- Manage several large, complex projects with significant staff involvement.
- Develop and independently manage project budgets.
- Participate in performance evaluations, hiring, and termination decisions.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members.
Client Services:
- Prepare and review final work products, ensuring high quality.
- Lead client discussions and manage client meetings independently.
- Present complex technical concepts effectively to clients, regulatory agencies, and legal groups.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and professional organization meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline and 10+ years of qualifying experience, or an Associate's degree in a relevant technical curriculum and 12+ years of qualifying experience.
- Professional certification or licensure in the primary state of residence/operation or relevant professional certification.
- Extensive experience in air quality assessments.
