This opportunity offer the chance to lead a multidisciplinary team, drive business development, and oversee engineering projects from inception to delivery. As the Regional Engineering Manager, you'll shape strategic direction, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure quality and efficiency across operations, all while making a lasting impact on the organisation and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse engineering team to meet organisational goals.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work culture.
- Manage recruitment, retention, and team performance reviews.
Project Management:
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to time lines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure project success.
Strategic Leadership & Process Improvement:
- Contribute to office strategic goals, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Represent the office in meetings, presenting technical solutions and project outcomes.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Manage the office budget and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Ensure the office is adequately staffed and resourced for project demands.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in engineering, land development, with at least 3-5 years in leadership.
- PE licensed in Tennessee is required.
- Proven project management and team leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in relevant engineering software.
