We are seeking an experienced and motivated RCDD Group Lead to spearhead the integration of Low-Voltage Services within our reputable MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) firm. As the RCDD Group Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the low-voltage division, expanding our service offerings to meet the increasing demand for telecommunications, audiovisual, security, and other low-voltage systems. This leadership role will require your expertise in low-voltage design and your ability to manage a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Division Establishment: Lead the initiative to create and establish the Low-Voltage Services division within our MEP firm, collaborating with senior management to define strategic goals and objectives.
Team Management: Build and manage a team of RCDD-certified professionals, low-voltage designers, and technicians, ensuring a positive work environment and fostering professional development.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the low-voltage services domain, including telecommunications, audiovisual, electronic security, data networking, and structured cabling systems.
Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their low-voltage needs, and providing innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
Project Oversight: Take ownership of low-voltage projects from inception to completion, overseeing design, implementation, quality assurance, and on-time delivery.
Technical Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in low-voltage systems, offering guidance and support to the team and ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and precision of low-voltage designs and documentation.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the MEP team and other relevant departments to integrate low-voltage services seamlessly into our comprehensive MEP offerings.
Training and Development: Organize and facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their technical skills and keep them updated with the latest trends and advancements in low-voltage technologies.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and expenses related to the Low-Voltage Services division to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
RCDD Certification: Possess a valid and active RCDD certification, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and experience in low-voltage system design and implementation.
Leadership Experience: Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively leading teams in the low-voltage services domain, preferably within an MEP or related firm.
Low-Voltage Expertise: Extensive experience in designing and implementing low-voltage systems, including telecommunications, audiovisual, security, and data networking.
Business Acumen: Strong business development and client relationship management abilities, with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
