Salary: $140,000- $170,000 + Bonus(s)

Position Summary:
As a Heavy Civil Public Works Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects by providing accurate cost estimates. Your expertise will help guide project bids and ensure financial feasibility, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for heavy civil public works projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather and analyze project data.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information.
- Monitor industry trends and pricing to maintain competitive estimates.
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for heavy civil public works projects.
- Proven track record of successfully estimating projects from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations impacting public works projects.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
