Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Systems Design

Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead design projects in water and wastewater infrastructure across Kentucky. What You Will Do:
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead Design & Planning: Spearhead the design and planning of water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities, ensuring all projects meet technical and regulatory requirements.
- Innovative Solutions: Oversee hydraulic modeling, pump station designs, pipeline sizing, and pressure conduit analysis.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet specific water quality and infrastructure needs.
- Manage Project Execution: Ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution of water and wastewater systems projects, including managing resources, budgets, and schedules.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment that supports growth and learning.
- Quality Assurance: Review designs, technical calculations, and construction documents to ensure they align with the highest standards of quality and safety.
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).
- 7-15 years of experience working with water and wastewater infrastructure, specifically in design, hydraulic modeling, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Industry Software such as HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and treatment plant design.
- Strong experience in fire flow analysis, model calibration, and master planning.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, coordinate projects, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
