We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage several large-scale substation projects from estimate hand-off to financial close-out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall financial well-being of their projects, including change order submittals, invoicing, and as-built submittals.
This is a hybrid role based out of our clients office in Akron Ohio
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of substation project management, from initial planning to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and submit change orders, invoices, and as-built documentation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and substation construction.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification is a plus.
