Key Responsibilities:
There is an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer/Project Manager to join a dynamic Diagnostics Group. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in acquiring Structural Diagnostics business, focusing on either industrial or commercial structures. Project management experience is essential.
The Structural Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office, with a focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work. This role also involves assisting in marketing, business development, and the growth of the Diagnostics Group. The candidate should have experience and interest in restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, and forensic engineering.
The ideal candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager capable of working within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness in meeting client and project needs are required.
Role Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Preferably hold a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Professional Experience: Over 7 years of relevant experience, demonstrating consistent professional growth.
- Licensing: Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is mandatory.
- Specialized Experience: Experience in litigation and forensics, along with established relationships with attorneys and insurance clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent people management abilities and a focus on customer service.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
