Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides various services for clients consisting of inspection and analysis of existing roof systems.
- Perform infrared moisture surveys and compile report for client.
- Perform minor roof maintenance repairs and leak repairs.
- Operate company owned vehicles safely and maintain cleanliness.
- Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Utilize computers and electronic communication (E-mail, Microsoft Word, Upload Photos, etc.).
- Able to learn and utilize required project software programs (GoCanvas, TSheets, etc.).
Required Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architecture from an accredited engineering or architecture school; Other degrees will be considered based on relevant experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Building design/building envelope evaluations, waterproofing, roofing investigations & studies
- Writing technical reports
Physical and Travel Demands:
- Office work may include prolonged exposure to computers and prolonged sitting
- Position requires some work to be completed outdoors with potential exposure to inclement weather conditions.
- May require the use of suspended scaffolding
- Must have the ability to climb
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) whenever necessary
