Project Manager - Power Delivery

Position Description: A prominent company in the power delivery sector is seeking a Project Manager. This role involves managing projects from electric co-op and municipal substations to industrial wind projects, ensuring a reliable supply of electrical power for customers.
The Project Manager will be responsible for all activities on the assigned project, including leadership of the project team, client interactions, quality, scheduling, deadlines, and reporting project status and timelines to leadership. This position is a key contributor to the team through both leadership and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, driving a culture of the utmost quality and safety standards
- Coordinate and complete projects within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule, and other objectives
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize project progress, preparing reports for leadership
- Provide leadership for project team members and the project management process, leading and directing the work of the entire project team
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge and understanding of various commercial terms and conditions
- Five plus years of project or field execution experience in substation construction, with at least 3 years in direct supervision of substation work
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician preferred
- Extensive knowledge of substation construction industry practices, legal standards, and market trends
- Complete understanding of all stages of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of systems and service work in new or remodeled substations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to process a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Electrical project management experience
Compensation: To provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open position. Our base pay ranges are set based on the function, discipline, level, and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry. Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.
Base Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000 annually.
