About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a variety of technically complex, mission-critical projects. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work across multiple service areas, including data centers, smart buildings, and program management office services. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
The Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing project design and implementation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring clear communication with customers. This position involves pre-sales activities, site assessments, project planning, and execution, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site discovery visits to assess existing conditions and client requirements, using observations to develop project strategies and scopes of work.
- Support pre-sales efforts by preparing proposals and presentations for clients and partners.
- Develop project cost estimates and technical proposals, clearly articulating available services.
- Oversee and coordinate project implementation, including material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and customer communication.
- Manage design and construction administration processes, collaborating with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients.
- Maintain project success through proactive documentation, risk assessment, and effective communication.
- Develop scope of work documents, including written reports and diagrams, for subcontractors involved in project execution.
- Identify and resolve project issues independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of project management experience within the design or construction industry.
- Knowledge of data center, mission-critical, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Experience working in a remote/virtual work environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred but not required.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Location & Travel
This is a remote position with occasional travel to project sites as needed.
