This firm is a dynamic, employee-owned engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm seeking a talented Environmental Engineer to join the team in the San Francisco Bay Area or Greater Sacramento Area. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on the planning, design, and construction of soil, groundwater, sediment, and air quality projects throughout California.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, master plans, basis of design studies, contract documents, and provide bid support and construction management for water infrastructure projects.
- Prepare contract documents, technical reports, engineering calculations, and technical analyses.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and technical subconsultants.
- Administer construction-phase support, including submittal reviews and handling requests for information.
- Conduct design and construction field observation activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, including design planning, preparation of technical specifications, and construction management or engineering support services for environmental remediation projects.
- Ability to obtain a California Civil Engineering P.E. license within 2 years (current P.E. preferred).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
