Job Title: Project Engineer - Water Resources

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer specializing in Water Resources to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of water resource projects, such as developing stormwater management systems to reduce urban flooding and improve water quality.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical analyses to support project planning and design for watershed restoration and flood control systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water supply optimization projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful completion of water resource projects.
- Design and implement green infrastructure solutions to manage stormwater in urban areas.
- Lead efforts to restore natural habitats and improve water quality in local watersheds.
- Develop and upgrade flood control systems to protect communities from extreme weather events.
- Optimize water supply systems to ensure reliable and sustainable water resources for growing populations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any issues, ensuring smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM).
- Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
