What You Will Do As the Cost Engineer

As a Cost Engineer, you will provide data-driven insights into project health, risks, and opportunities, influencing improved outcomes for our projects and events.
- Communicate the rationale and methodology behind your data-driven recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure transparency in project metrics and bench-marking performance through analytics throughout the project/event life-cycle.
- Organize, manage, and predict the financial outcomes of projects or events.
- Assist in establishing a control structure that fosters an in-control state.
- Manage change in Engineering & Execution.
- Drive innovations to create a competitive advantage.
- Partner with peers to effectively share knowledge across sites.
- Be an early adopter of new technology.
- Help identify and implement re-imagined business processes as we continue to transform.
- Potential for approximately 10% travel.
Who You Are as the Cost Engineer (Basic Qualifications)
- 3+ years of experience as a Cost Analyst or Cost Engineer managing projects or turnarounds, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.
- Proven experience in communicating effectively through data-driven storytelling and insights.
- Experience in driving organizational change using technology.
- Proficient in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and converting estimates to budgets.
- Skilled in facilitating project control meetings.
