Job Title: Security Federal Program Manager (TS Required)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Federal Program Manager to join our team. As a Security Federal Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of security programs for federal projects. You will work closely with government agencies, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with federal security requirements and the protection of sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute security programs in accordance with federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with government agencies and contractors to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with security objectives.
- Lead and coordinate security activities, including risk assessments, security planning, and incident response, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, solutions, and controls to mitigate risks and enhance project security.
- Monitor project progress and regularly communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on security program implementation and status.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal security standards and frameworks, such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST.
- Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest federal security requirements and industry best practices, incorporating them into project strategies and plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Security, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Security Federal Program Manager or senior Project Manager, preferably in a government or federal contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal security regulations, policies, and guidelines, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST Special Publications.
- Experience in managing security programs for federal projects, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and incident response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective security solutions in a federal context.
- Security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CSSLP, are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience on systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Exacqvisionon and Ccure 9000.
