A global Engineering Design Consultancy firm is looking for Process Engineer (Oil & Gas or Pharmaceutical) in Seoul, South Korea. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating all process engineering and execution of Oil & Gas / Chemical / Petrochemical / Power or Pharmaceutical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, calculate and optimize processes in the fields of oil and gas industry
- Calculate Material Balances, Production Scheduling and Planning
- Generate and review PFD, P&IDs, material, equipment specifications, detailed process engineering
- Participate in design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of process and basic engineering works
- Participate in HAZOP and safety review or assessment
- Oversee the construction activities, progress, planning and implementation
- Involvement in project planning, scheduling and cost control
- Support commercial sales and project team on technical clarifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or any relevant Engineering Sciences
- 5+ years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical or Pharmaceutical
- Familiar with O&G or chemical manufacturing processes (including equipment, detailed design, optimization etc.)
- Bilingual in both English and Japanese (Must)
- Bonus if you speak Korean
- Ability to travel down to site
- Based in Seoul, Korea
