The Role
As a Lead Contaminated Land Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and delivering contaminated land and remediation projects across Australia. Working with a team of highly skilled environmental scientists and engineers, you will provide expert advice to clients across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, property development, and government.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage contaminated land investigations, site assessments, and remediation projects.
- Provide technical expertise in accordance with Queensland's environmental legislation and guidelines.
- Oversee fieldwork programs, data interpretation, and reporting, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing strategic advice and project updates.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
About You
- 8+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including Queensland's Environmental Protection Act and NEPM guidelines.
- Proven experience in project management and client liaison.
- Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- CEnvP accreditation (or working towards it) is highly regarded.
