As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you must have excellent engineering skills to apply your knowledge of physics and materials science principles for design production processes. You should also have extensive experience creating safety protocols that adhere strictly to industry standards while ensuring compliance with state laws. Familiarity with local regulations regarding pipeline transport systems would be advantageous due to work volume from clients there.
Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and inspection of equipment used by companies operating under American Petroleum Institute (API) guidelines specifically relating towards corrosion detection. You will also be travelling on-site visits across various locations internationally performing condition assessments documenting any structural flaws found which may affect productivity long term. Additionally, you will organize data concerning structure's conditions into databases allowing managers easy access so they can quickly diagnose issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering (Masters preferred)
- 15+ Year's industry experience
- Strong knowledge of API codes & ASME standards
- API Certifications 510, 570, 571, 580, 653 (preferred)
- Lead position experience in projects managing teams of 5+ engineers
