My client is an independent power producer headquartered in the United States, specializing in acquiring, developing, and operating power generation facilities. Whose mission is to support the decolonization of the electric grid and advance the nation's shift towards clean energy solutions. Currently, they are in search of a new PMO Associate who will play a crucial role in the Project Execution Framework under the supervision of the PMO Manager.
The PMO Associate plays a crucial role in Earthrise's Project Execution Framework under the supervision of the PMO Manager. Responsibilities include implementing and enforcing project controls and procedures aligned with construction contracts and internal standards. They oversee the administration and deployment of the Project Management System (Procore) for new projects, provide vital project management support to both Construction and PMO Team members, and monitor ongoing construction project performance. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with EPC contractors on document management and issue resolution, while also contributing to project and contract reviews and leading group initiatives aimed at enhancing overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce project controls and procedures in accordance with construction contracts and internal standards.
- Administer and deploy the Project Management System (Procore) for new projects.
- Provide project management support to Construction and PMO Team members.
- Monitor ongoing construction project performance.
- Collaborate with EPC contractors on document management and issue resolution.
- Contribute to project and contract reviews.
The ideal candidate:
- Additional studies or certifications in project management preferred
- 2+ years of experience in project controls within project and construction environments; experience in renewable projects a plus
- Previous involvement in project management for an EPC contractor or owner's team on a construction site advantageous
