Title: Plumbing Designer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing plumbing design services to support the production of construction drawings and specifications for our clients. You'll be working alongside the mechanical engineering team to construct designs while collaborating with the electrical engineering team to ensure designs are up the code and to the client's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design plumbing systems for various projects, both large and small
- Collaborate directly with Architects and Owners
- Prepare various reports and meeting minutes
- Produce design documents (drawings, specifications, and reports)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in plumbing design, including waste and vent systems, supply systems, roof drain calculations and design, equipment and fixture selection, shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting
- Familiarity with the International Plumbing Code and NFPA 13
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
- Must be a US Citizen
