Location: Manassas, VA
Role and Responsibilities:
- Company Culture: Uphold values of client-focus, safety, accountability, professionalism, and timely, error-free work.
- Research: Investigate property ownership, deeds, plats, easements, and other relevant documents.
- Data Collection: Request and integrate information from various agencies into CAD drawings.
- Surveying: Perform complex measurements, calculations, and boundary survey analysis.
- CAD and GIS: Direct CAD production and GIS data collection/analysis.
- Calculations: Determine corrections for earth curvature, atmospheric impacts, and other factors.
- Survey Preparation: Prepare various types of surveys and legal descriptions.
- Quality Control: Check plats and drawings for accuracy.
- Field Work: Occasionally work in the field and follow safe traffic procedures.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with technology and maintain relevant licenses.
- Documentation: Complete timesheets daily and attend meetings.
- Travel: Travel as needed, sometimes overnight.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensing: Licensed Land Surveyor with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with survey equipment and data collection software.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong skills in both areas.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in work.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed.
