Piping Project Engineer III
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Piping Project Engineer III to join our team. This role focuses on designing and developing piping systems for gas turbine power projects, ensuring adherence to industry codes, contracts, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply ASME B31.1 and B31.3 codes to meet project requirements.
- Respond to technical inquiries from customers, vendors, and field personnel.
- Collaborate with international partners to align project timelines and requirements.
- Review and manage project contracts, schedules, and deliverables related to piping systems.
- Prepare technical specifications for piping components and conduct detailed reviews of drawings and models.
- Develop corrective actions to improve quality and reduce non-conformance.
- Facilitate technical discussions with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Participate in kick-off meetings, and maintain comprehensive documentation for the piping and layout engineering group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required); Master's degree or P.E. license (preferred).
- 5-10 years of relevant technical experience.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software, such as Smart3D, is a plus.
- Familiarity with welding, NDE processes, and additional ASME codes is advantageous.
